Women Ministry     The Women Ministry at Second Shiloh Baptist Church is a group of caring Women with a single mission in mind - to serve, seek and save while we continue to do God’s Work, God’s Way. We come together as one to insure that the business and dealings of SSBC is handled both correctly, timely and in an orderly manner. Our focus is centered on taking care of others in as many avenues as we can. The Women Ministry visits the sick and/or shut-in members of the church and we have our annual ministry celebration, “Women in Red”.  In 2003 Sis. Rosa Gardner was named Women Ministry Director. Shortly after then, she became ill and was unable to participate as often as she would have liked to; yet, when she could, she was there with a smile and words of encouragement to others even when she was not 100% herself. Sister Gardner represented SSBC at the National Baptist Convention this year. The Women Ministry is comprised of adult females in the church.  A part of the Women Ministry is Sister-to-Sister.  This ministry is for the most part, the younger members of the Women ministry, but is not limited to only SSBC members.  Sister-to-Sister was formed in February 2008 and is chaired by First Lady Tracie Blue.  Their mission is to empower, encourage and equip young at heart sisters to live the spiritually led, holistic lives divinely designed and strategically structured by God.
